Who do I call if I’m worried a child is at risk of harm?

image of a person on the phoneIf you or someone else are in immediate danger, call police on Triple Zero (000).

If you think a child is at risk of harm, you can report your concerns by calling the Department in your State or Territory.

The identity of who made a report is generally kept confidential.

The laws about when people should report children at risk to the Department are slightly different in each State and Territory. To find out more about how and when to make a report, visit the website of your local child protection Department below.
